On the morning of May 10, 1996, climbers (Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin) from two expeditions start their final ascent toward the summit of Mount Everest, the highest point on Earth. With little warning, a violent storm strikes the mountain, engulfing the adventurers in one of the fiercest blizzards ever encountered by man. Challenged by the harshest conditions imaginable, the teams must endure blistering winds and freezing temperatures in an epic battle to survive against nearly impossible odds.

Everest is a 2015 New Zealand-American-Icelandic 3D true to life debacle dramatization and experience thriller film coordinated by Baltasar Kormákur and composed by William Nicholson and Simon Beaufoy. The film stars Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin, John Hawkes, Robin Wright, Michael Kelly, Sam Worthington, Keira Knightley, Emily Watson, and Jake Gyllenhaal.
The film opened the 72nd Venice International Film Festival on September 2, 2015, and was discharged dramatically on September 18, 2015. It depends on the genuine occasions of the 1996 Mount Everest calamity, and spotlights on the survival endeavors of two campaign bunches, one drove by Scott Fischer (Gyllenhaal) and the other by Rob Hall (Clarke).
