The story gets 30 years after the first ‘THE EVIL DEAD’ film finished with another gathering of children setting off to the same lodge so Mia (Levy) can attempt to detox and get over her sedative dependence. Her companions Eric (Pucci), Olivia (Lucas), Natalie (Blackmore) and sibling David (Fernandez) are there too to offer her some assistance with getting through it. They go over the ‘book of the dead’ (the Naturom Demonto) from the first movies, in the basement and Eric stupidly peruses from it (regardless of a few notices not to).
