Hulchul (2004) Film Short Story :
Angar Chand carries on with a rich way of life in a modest community in India alongside his better half, Parvati, and four children, Balram, Kishan, Shakti and Jai. Since Balram is of eligible age, he organizes his marriage with the little girl of Laxmi Devi, who chooses to go against this marriage. During the wedding function, Laxmi Devi and her children, Surajbhan, and Pratap persuasively eliminate their sister and incidentally kill Parvati. They hence get their sister hitched to Kashinath. An incensed Angar hacks Laxmi’s better half to death, is captured and condemned to 14 years in jail.
