Muqaam is inspired by the diurnal news stories of love and treason which we come through in the society. The society has nearly come asleep towards these issues because of the sheer frequence and the feeling of a false sense of security that it isn’t going to be to them or their dear bones.

The story revolves around the crucial characters Disha, Tahir, Chandu, Zoya and Salim, etc. Disha is a small city, coming- door girl. She’s an orphan raised by her forefather. Her forefather wants to see her happily married to a good joe before he retires but Disha has plans of her own. She’s in love with Tahir and is ready to take any measure for getting wedded to him.
